Romain de Tirtoff (under psuedonym Erté) was a russian born artist that developed his career in fashion during the art deco period (1920s) hence labeling him a "french" artist. I just love how the french always take credit for people that weren't born in their country, but whatever, these artists obviously couldn't make it in their own country so might as well make it somewhere. Erté flourished in many fields including fashion, jewellery, graphic arts, interior design, costume and set design. Anyways some great inspiration from artist Erté.
